The Practice of Love
Galatians 6:1
1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
We can be quick to judge others. We can all have an opinion, but the Lord is the only one who truly knows where a persons heart is.
It seems that there are people who are insecure and haven’t truly surrendered to the Lord, but are trusting in what they think they know or have been taught. Many also have been hurt from a church. So many people can only truly believe what they think they know to be true.
Take for instance, most people have been led to believe what they believe from those who have had the most influence on their life through good and bad experiences. People are being shaped by the teaching they have received into their life.
That’s why it is so important that we show love to people where they are…without condemnation. We are to be the salt and light for the Lord, whom all people truly need.
Those of us who are truly spiritual in the Lord…our first response should be to help those who need further enlightenment. We should all be learning that we need to show compassion to others first in wanting to help them instead of easily judging them.
If you need someone to care, and who will listen without condemnation, but will also be truthful to you in love according to the love and truth in Jesus Christ, then please text me through messenger or you can even come to visit our church at Smithfield First P.H. Church on 1000 Wilson Mills Rd. Smithfield, NC. Our service times are Sundays 10:30am and Wednesdays 7pm.
Blessings and Love to Everyone!
