Does regular attendance to a local church really Matter?

I believe the scriptures teaches us the importance of continuing in our faith. The importance of encouraging one another as we meet together in the presence of the Lord. We must learn to love one another as we grow in our love for God.

A God loving, people loving, sin killing, gospel preaching local church is vital to our walk with God. We must not get lukewarm, or slack in our walk with the Lord, nor lose the passion of our first love.

I believe the goal of every true Pastor of a local church should be to preach and teach in love all the counsel of God, to lead believers to become true disciples of Christ, to love God and people, to win the lost, to live in the Spirit, and to love one another as Christ truly loves us.

Hebrews 10:23-26 (KJV)

23 Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised;)

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

23 Let us hold firmly to the hope that we have confessed, because we can trust God to do what he promised.

24 Let us think about each other and help each other to show love and do good deeds.

25 You should not stay away from the church meetings, as some are doing, but you should meet together and encourage each other. Do this even more as you see the day coming.

26 If we decide to go on sinning after we have learned the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins.
